AG/AP Course of Study

Myers Park offers a strong honors and AP course of study.

Honors courses offer the most advanced level of the standard curriculum. Instruction is rigorous and requires a high level of student responsibility. Honors courses are offered in English, Math, Social Studies, and Science in 9th and 10th grade. Advanced level courses are offered all 4 years and continue the honors level of study in the 11th and 12th grade.

Advanced Placement courses are college freshman-level courses, administered and regulated by the National College Board organization. Most colleges and universities in the United States recognize these courses, allowing students to earn college credit while still in high school. AP classes are open to all juniors and seniors.
